In New York City, a sophisticated car theft ring literally stalked New Yorkers who drove mint condition luxury vehicles and specifically Lexus SUV’s. The reasoning they have been tailing these New Yorkers is because they are trying to fulfill the orders from International brokers serving clients in Africa.
The Members of the car theft ring are using the streets of New York City as their own personal auto show room. Once the car thieves would identify the car they wanted, they would stalk at the owners of that car until the right opportunity to steal it.
Once they would find the car they wanted they would contact a locksmith at an Orlando, Florida dealership to provide keys and special codes. In addition, the ring would also provide phony titles for stolen vehicles so they could be shipped without detection out of NJ and Maryland ports.
The thieves would receive $12,000 per car when the brokers would turn around and charge triple the amount.
Don't be a Victim:
To help deter crime and auto theft in your neighborhood it is important to install security. Install video cameras and accompany them with video surveillance signs to let the thieves know they are being watched. In addition, form a Neighborhood Watchwatch to inform criminals that your community cannot be taken advantage of. So send the right message and place a variety of security signs and no loitering signs to prevent crime from destroying your neighborhood.
